VLF India has introduced the VLF Strada in India on 11 October 2026, bringing a new electric scooter to the Indian market with motorcycle-inspired styling, advanced technology and versatile electric performance. Designed for riders looking for a combination of distinctive design, everyday practicality and performance, the VLF Strada features a powerful 4.8 kW electric motor, removable LFP battery options and a claimed IDC range of up to 250 km.
Combining a bold design with modern features and practical engineering, the VLF Strada aims to offer a distinctive experience in India’s growing electric two-wheeler segment.
VLF Strada: Design and Styling
The VLF Strada stands apart with its motorcycle-inspired design, sharp bodywork and distinctive road presence. Its geometric styling, angular front profile and integrated LED lighting give the electric scooter a bold and contemporary appearance.
One of its most recognisable design elements is the dual-beam projector LED headlamp with an integrated lighting signature. The aerodynamic transparent windscreen, sculpted body panels, sporty split seat and raised rear section further enhance its distinctive styling.
The VLF Strada is available in four colour options:
- Carbonio Black
- Titanio Grey
- Urbano Silver
- Luna White
VLF Strada Motor, Power and Performance
The VLF Strada electric scooter is powered by a BLDC hub motor delivering 4.8 kW of peak power and 34 Nm of peak torque.
With a top speed of 85 km/h, the scooter offers three riding modes to suit different riding requirements:
- Eco Mode: Up to 45 km/h
- City Mode: Up to 65 km/h
- Sport Mode: Up to 85 km/h
The motor comes with an IP67 protection rating, while the Field-Oriented Control (FOC) controller manages power delivery across the three riding modes.
VLF Strada Battery and Range – Up to 250 km IDC
Battery capacity and riding range are among the key highlights of the VLF Strada. The electric scooter features a 72V Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery system available in two configurations.

- Claimed IDC Range: Up to 130 km
VLF Strada Max Variant
- Battery Capacity: 4.32 kWh
- Battery: 60 Ah
- Claimed IDC Range: Up to 250 km
The removable and swappable battery system offers added convenience, allowing the battery to be removed for charging or replacement, subject to the supported configuration.
The battery system also features an IP67 rating and a dedicated Battery Management System (BMS) for monitoring and protection.
Actual riding range may vary depending on riding conditions, speed, rider load, temperature, terrain and riding style.
